This month’s whisperbubble is a fun little fact that I stumbled upon while researching potential future travel spots, but the best account of it is in Colin Salter’s book The History Trees, which is a fascinating book in its own right. Let’s get to it.
I can’t find any information about whether any of those letters found recipients or not, but it’s fun to imagine disembarking from a ship and reading a note someone had left you in a tree months ago.
